How do you change the format when burning videos to a disk on windows live movie maker so you can put it in a dvd player to watch it on a tv

i have a video project that me and my group filmed and i edited it yeaterday then i burned it to a disk and when i put it in the dvd player it didnt want to play it it said there was no files on the diak but when i checked on the computer if it is on the disk it was and it played. so i need help please its due tommorow when i burned the video to the disk I went under file and then save to device then burn to disk

Once you Import your video by dragging it to the storyboard at the bottom of the window, and then click Save Movie File if you are using Windows XP under File or click Publish Movie if you're using Windows Vista. See support.microsoft.com/kb/932614 for details.
