On skyrim what level of smithing do you have to be to make superior armor

The level that you are required to have in order to make superior armor is 100. By reaching that level is as high as any armor or weapon will go without the smithing perk for that class.

Depending on which you went with light or heavy?
Every ten levels of anything allows you to do up grades as in ebony, glass,ect..level 100 allows for dragon armor
