my dog died and his soul is haunting me. how do I get rid of the spirit.

Many people believe that dogs do have souls just like people do. There is no true scientific evidence to support this claim, but regardless it is believed to be true.

try saying things like good dog and calling his or her name and whenever you feel he or she is near you talk nicely to him or her

I thought you meant the dog actually passed away, but every one treats this question like your dog is still alive. My suggestion would be to tell your parents and let them do the rest.

I have often wondered about that myself. We had a family dog that died about almost 10 yrs ago. He was a cherished family member and a gentle soul. He used to lay beside my bed at night, and still to this day, sometimes I just feel like he is still there .. cause that's where he belongs .. with his family. Somehow I find comfort in feeling that he is still with us, even if it's just in spirit.

I now how what your going through hope I dont cry again I have had 2 passed away dogs and there spirits are still in my backyard I now because I was gisving my doggies food and I felt something looking at me I looked down the steps and my first dog to die was staring at me I said its name it wagged its tail and disapeared I started crying anf to this day I feel her whatever you did to the dog is probably why its haunting you but if you didnt do anything then mabye it still needed you so when ur soul goes your dogs soul will go with you
