What's the difference between rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide

Rubbing Alcohol has a molecular formula of C3H8O, a complex molecule. This compound is mostly used as an industrial solvent. Another use is in pharmaceuticals. Hydrogen peroxide on the other hand is a compound with a molecular formula of H2O2 which if you look at it is a water molecule with an extra oxygen atom. It is a strong oxydizer often used as a bleach.
