How do you delete a video off of a dvd-r?

You can't! In order to record over it, it has to be DVD-RW!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to delete this specific video from your DVD-R because all the information is read only. However, you can get rid of all the information from the disk by erasing the entire disc using the Erase Disc Wizard on your computer.
