There's nothing called supernatural. Anything beyond natural is a lie. Therefore, ipso facto - not to be believed - of gods or devils alike.

Leaving out for the moment the impression gained from ancestors, the hereditary fears and drifts and trends -- the natural food of thought must be the impression made upon the brain by coming in contact, through the medium of the five senses, with what we call the outward world. The brain is natural. Its food is natural. The result -- thought -- must be natural. The supernatural can be constructed with no material except the natural. Of the supernatural, even assuming god(!) did some, we can have no conception.

That's what makes it supernatural. If it was possible with man then it wouldn't be supernatural

God's miracles are supernatural acts that happen in the natural world. God's miracles provide us evidence that God exists. God is a supernatural person. With God being
supernatural, God's Miracles are manifestations of God being supernatural. God's miracles in our lives manifest His glory and reinforce our faith.

How can miracle be an EVIDENCE? In what manner?
Report as
If someone believed that miracles were possible because he believed that God exists, then all he needs to do is look at the Bible, weigh the evidence and decide to believe or not believe in miracles -- like Jesus' resurrection. Again, consider Jesus. From the accounts of the eyewitness testimonies in the Gospels we can see many people believed that Jesus rose from the dead. After all, the Romans, who were expert at crucifixion, killed Jesus, and put guards on the tomb. Yet, the tomb was found empty. The disciples who had all fled and were in hiding, suddenly started proclaiming that Jesus had risen. These same disciples risked life and limb in order to teach that Jesus had risen. Why would they do that for a lie that would cost them their lives, their livelihood, their family ties, etc., unless it really happened?
Since Christians do not have a presupposition that excludes the miraculous, we are able to look at the resurrection of Christ as recorded in the Bible, weigh the evidence, and make a choice to believe or not believe. Of course, Christians by default believed in the resurrection of Christ.
Finally, it would be basically illogical to state that miracles cannot occur. This is because in order to logically state that miracles cannot occur, a person must either know all things in the universe so that he can rightfully state miracles cannot occur, or he must have some logical proof why miracles cannot occur, or possess a sufficiently sophisticated knowledge base to conclude the miraculous cannot occur, etc. Furthermore, it is not enough to state that there is no evidence for the miraculous since a person's experiential base is limited. It may very well be that miracles have occurred and this person is simply not aware of it.

You know, the OT & the Quaran holds equally (if not more) authentic, awesome & quality of miracles as does NT. Why are we not to believe them & worship their god?

The Koran abrogates certain passages of the Koran when they are in conflict with other passages of the Koran. "Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it." Sura 2:106
When the Koran abrogates a passage, that passage remains in the Koran, and is sometimes quoted in a way to deceive those who are not aware of the dogma of abrogation. The Bible has a New Testament that fulfills the Old Testament. Many of those things that were brought in type and shadow in the Old Testament are revealed and fulfilled in the New Testament. Those things that are moral import remain. Salvation is given for forgiveness for breaking the law and to free and empower Christians to fulfill the law. When the Bible appears to conflict with itself, it is always an example of human reasoning plus the Bible that causes the supposed conflict. Take out the faulty human reasoning, and there is no conflict. "The Scripture cannot be broken." John 10:35 The Bible does not abrogate passages.

The Bible documents are well attested as being reliable and accurate. In fact, we have around 24,000 ancient manuscripts of the New Testament. So much so, that no major area of Christian doctrine is affected by possible variations among manuscripts.
Regarding the Koran, Muhammad couldn't read or write, so he recited the Koran to people who then wrote it down. There is no evidence at all that the Koran was written down in its entirety in Muhammad's lifetime and compiled as a unit. So how could he have verified its truth?
Shortly after Muhammad's death, the Muslim Uthman ordered all sets of the Koran manuscripts to be destroyed except the codex of Zaid. Why? Is it because Zaid's copy was better? If so, how do we know? Did differences in the copies arise so quickly that discrepancies were evident and Uthman recognized the need for a standardized copy lest Islam suffer division? It raises doubt on the Koran's supposed incorruptibility.
Muslims claim that Allah said the Koran would be preserved. But, the mere claim is not enough. It is using the Koran to substantiate the Koran which is circular reasoning.

Because Zaid was the first to compile the Koran in its present form. Just as the council of nice did for bible. No order was given to burn a single copy of Koran by the Uthman because to Muslims that would have been blasphemy. If u read the Koran then u would have known that the quote of abrogation was in reference to a specific incident not a standard. However, the point was to say that the OT & the Koran are equally authentic (if not more) as NT. If u, like many of us, have read all these books with equal unbiased mind u too would have known it.

Don't u use the bible to substantiate the bible which too is a circular reasoning? How self contradicting is that?

Miracles, things that no humans being are capable of doing. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. (John 3:2 KJV)
