How do you find the missing measurement for a triangle.A=16in sq,b=8in.,h= or A= ,b=6.4ft.,h=7.6ft

Report as

No. The two sides that u have u raise them to the second power. (which is whatever the number u have u multiply it by the same number.) 5x5) then u add both the numbers together. Then with the number u got square root it and that will give you the missing side . (:

Add all the measurements given then take the total perimeter and subtract the answer that you got. This will give you the missing measurements. The triangle has only three sides so make sure you get the calculations right.

Use the pythagorean theorem. a^2+b^2=c^2 where a and b are sides and c is the hypotenuse. 16^2+ 8^2=c^2 320=c^2 so c=sqrt(320)

A=bh/2
8h/2=16
2|8h/2=16|
8h=32
8h/8=32/8
h=4 in.
and A=bh/2
A=6.4*7.6/2=24.32 in. sq.
