What's some good ways to warm up in the few hours before a basketball game other than just stretching?
Do some low intensity aerobic activities like jogging around the court or jumping rope. Additionally, you can do some leg swings/pendulum swings for a while; about 10-12 swings for each leg, and then proceed to agility exercises. Take a jog, or anything to get your muscles warmed up. Drink some Gatorade, to help with the electrolytes you'll be losing while playing, shoot some practice shots. Good luck with your game!
I think stretching is the best, but perhaps you could add a little running with or without the ball.
