How to give a beagle a bath?

My beagle is always rolling in the grossest things and I need to give her a bath. She smells horrible. Should I bathe her outside or in a bathtub.

Use a dog shampoo! Their skin is different than ours and people shampoo can have a very drying effect on your dog! I would wash her inside. A dog's body temp is over 100*f and the cold water running through a hose feels even colder to them. Don't give them a HOT bath just a warm one. If you have a tub mat use it it gives the dog a more secure sense than sliding on a slick tub. And be prepared to wash the tub out afterwards.

Outside with a hose if you have one, with dog soap.

Dang, you can wash your dog anywhere with anything, as long as the shampoo isn't harmful to your dog. Try not to get it in it's eyes, either! If your Beagle is a puppy, try puppy shampoo. If it's an adult, dog shampoo is the best way to go.

Put in tub. Squirt on dog soap. Rub soap in everywhere. Rinse dog. Dry dog. Clean dog!
