Why does chocolate melt?
what ingredient does chocolate contain that makes it melt?why does chocolate melt anyway?
American chocolate has more paraffin in it (edible wax), so it actually doesn't melt as fast as European chocolate. You just touch a Swiss chocolate bar and it starts going soft! I'm going to say its the paraffin that makes chocolate melt.
It doesn't need special ingredients for it to melt! It's just too hot and it starts to melt. Duh
Chocolate only melts if it's solid. Liquid chocolate doesn't (obviously).
