The difference between Vaseline and petroleum jelly is that Vaseline is made of pure petroleum jelly assorted with minerals and microcrystalline wax that makes it smoother. Petroleum jelly is made up of a lucid partial solid mix of hydrocarbons such as white petrolatum and white paraffin.
