Thrombolytic drug is a drug used to deal with harm caused by the blockage of a blood vessel. The drug dissolves blood clots and its agents are used to treat different medical conditions like deep vein thrombosis.

Thrombolytic drugs are used in medicines to dissolve blood clots in a procedure called thrombosis they limit the damages caused by the blood clots. These are used in the patients of heart attack.
