Teenagers are not adults. Their brains are not fully developed and therefore should not be exposed to alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Also, teenagers are more reckless than adults sometimes and alcohol would only increase that. Finally, by limiting a teen's exposure to alcohol and tobacco, in theory, reduces their chances of becoming addicted, Think of the children, darn it! Voting is another matter. Should teens be allowed to vote since some issues may affect them directly? On the flip side, should teens be allowed to vote for laws that do not affect them because said laws only affect adults? That's up for debate.
