I always look terrible in pictures...help! Please read details.

for some reason i look different (worse) in photos than in the mirror. i have no idea why, but i hate being in pictures because of it. The next time my friend flips out their phone to snap one, i want to be ready for a nice one for once. any advice?

If you have a phone camera you could use that to put on your makeup instead of the mirror. Then you'll know for fact you're "picture perfect".

Put make up on and do something with your hair then wear something really cute!!

The reason why you think you look bad is because after a photo is taken your face is reversed,unlike a mirror which accuratly reflects youre image.A few good ways to try to look good is 1.Dont over do your smile,just use a simple little smile(no teeth) 2.Dont act surprised or startled 3.Be yourself :)
