Why is it that one match can start a whole forest fire, but it takes a whole box to light up a barbecue?

Well it doesn't take the whole box, but it should does take more then one! haha :P

The reason for only needing one match to start a forest fire is because there are thousands of dry acres.

With a barbeque the wood or charcoal used isn't as plentiful or dry as forest land.

We usually use starter fluid as well and that is flammable.

However, if you put nothing but dry brown grass or just dry news paper in the grill and light one match, stand back because it will ignite fast and burn everything inside the grill.

So, that's the answer, it's a lot and extra dry.
