My cat gave birth to 2 kittens an hour apart. First 1 came 11 hours ago. Looks like she may still have 1 or 2 left inside. Is this possible?

I'm just curious if I should stay with her in case she does have more. or should I just let her alone? this is her 1st litter she's had. she's doing well feeding them and cleaning them. also seems to be comfortable and sleeping now. if you can help with this question I'd appreciate it. thank you:)

Yesterday I went out shopping for about 4 hours. My cat seemed normal when i left! When i came home i found her frantically circling the couch and little 'mew's coming from under it! she had given birth in the inside of the under couch lining. when i finally got to the kittens i saw there were 4. 1 had died. I had put her and the kits in a quiet room and was in there with her. She was panting a lot! I left her alone and when i came back there was another one on its way! We think she waited 'till she was alone to her thing. I'd suggest maybe putting her box ( you have a box right?) in a quiet room and opening the door so you can see in. things rarely go wrong but in case something does you'll wanna be able to step in if you are needed.

if the birthing sac/ chord aren't cut by momma you'll want to be able to tie it off ( floss works best) you may need to puncture the sac and circulate the breathing.

Did anything happen?(:

Aww congrats!! Sad the one died:(. She ended up only with the two. This was her first and last litter lol. She's a really small seal point Siamese and they're beautiful! Can't wait to see if their eyes are blue like hers. Take care of those babies:). I have her in bedroom by herself. She's on king sized sheet and it's in a best shape. She seems to like that better than the box. I have the door closed so the "daddy/male" cat can't get to them.

You should leave her alone since she probably doesn't need assistance, even if she has some more coming. Cats typically give birth at night and with no assistance, so you should leave her be; the possibility of having another isn't that big considering she already has 7.

My cat has done that. She had 2 babys, then the next day she had the other 3.

Thanks. But she only had two. First one 11 hours ago and last one 1 hour later. So we're at two. Thank you though

Thank you all:). She only ended up having 2 and that was it. She is in a bedroom by herself She's doing very well and so are the two little babies. She's a seal point Siamese, the daddy was black with Siamese mix. The kittens are so cute!!! They look black but against her feet they are that deep dark chocolate brown color.
Thanks again glad it all went with her

I had a cat that took many many hours to deliver her 4 kittens.
