I was just playing GTA IV,
after it showed the characters of the game , while loading , the game suddenly closed , why did this happen ?

Your computer might be having a problem and you can try loading or playing the game from a laptop or another computer and see if the same happens to you. If it is so, then you will have to get it checked out.

I also installed some mods in it , then the mods might get lost

before that it was working properly along the mods

was it at the beginning of the story? or did u play it for some time and it closed now for the first time? then does it says smtg.? like some error report? then is it legal or warez? More info pls...

yes it is the first time , then it says nothing , just closes , before that it was saying GTA IV has stopped working

ok, if warez :-) i supposed u used crack? then be sure u meet at least minimal system requirements. This is important. Because this game hase very very very very high system req. I meet recommended and still must play it on medium resolution and low or very low details. if u have win vista or 7, use compatability mode (right click on exe, properties... there u should find it. and if warez and this still doesnt work, get another (different) copy (Razor or Skidrow versions are allways with no problems)

it happened when i was on the mission " waste not want knots"

yes , it does not run at its normal speed , like of ps3 or Xbox
it runs slowly , not much slowly , i use win 7 with core i3
