How to install an EGR Valve on a 2009 Dodge Journey?

Report as

Disconnect the negative battery terminal with the terminal wrench and locate the EGR valve on top of the intake manifold. Unplug the vacuum line and electrical connectors from the valve and remove the bolts then remove it from the engine. Remove the EGR valve gasket and clean any traces of the gasket material from the intake manifold and insert the new gasket and place the new EGR on top of the gasket and install the mounting bolts. Reconnect the vacuum lines, electrical connectors and finally the negative battery terminal. Read more: http://www.allpar.com/model/m/EGR.html.
