There's not a for sure answer for this. Guys do it all the time. All I can tell you is if he left without warning he's not worth your time

Like Frued said, there are always warnings. Even when we see them, we try to act as though we don't, thinking maybe things might change, but they don't, so you really should take off the blinders.
If you want to be happy, you have to make yourself happy first, open your eyes and look around you, if it doesn't feel right, its not right!
What kind of warning are you looking for? They're either married, has another or not as attracted.
