Answer for these 2 seprate questions?

x + -3.2 = -4.8

For your first one, in order to find the value of (x) you have to make it alone with no other terms in one side;
x - 3.2 = -4.8, add (3.2) for both sides
x - 3.2 + 3.2 = -4.8 + 3.2
x = -1.6
To check the answer, replace (x) by -1.6 in the main equation and see if the right hand sie equals to the left one or not.

The answer to the first question is 8. You get the answer by taking -3.2 to the other side and subtracting it from -4.8. The second answer is 1228. You need to transfer b to the other b and then subtract, which gives you zero.
