It dosent matter what we've been through . What matters is how we react to it . Just because you've been through some issues does not mean you came out the other side of them a better person .
There's an old Sanskrit saying : if someone calls you an elephant , ignore them . if two people call you an elephant , think about it . if three people call you an elephant , buy some peanuts . Your an elephant .
who cares what people say, dont let them bring you down just be you're self and dont change for anybody... and sometimes when you've lived a rough life you got the right to act immature or how ever you want to act..
Tell me - how do behave? How do you react to adversity? How have you handled your "hell and back" scenario? Do you wake up with a smile or a frown? Are you just a little bit more special than everyone else?
People are telling you this for a reason. What's your story?
Sometimes self reflection is a positive thing. A hard life can lead to defense mechanisms that helped us survive but are not in our best interest later in life. Perhaps you could listen to the criticism and learn from it. You cannot have healthy relationships as an adult if you" refuse to change for anyone". We learn to compromise and negotiate to find peace and harmony with others. It's part of maturing into a healthy adult.
People do that to me when I try to prove a point. You're not alone and you're not immature at all. :) People say that because they'll try to get you upset. Either that or they're not thinking hard about what they're saying to you. You're not immature. Don't ever listen to what they say. :) God bless and keep strong! :)
