Isn't that what a teacher is suppose to do? Stand in front of the class and talk? Tell you about what you are suppose to be learning? Plus a classroom, for all intents and purposes are little dictatorships. The teacher is suppose to tell you what to do, as in do your lessons, mind your manners and show some respect. If you can't get past a teacher, who may very well be boring as all get out, and lacks some social skills for one school year, you are in for a very rude awakening you have have to deal with a boss who is much worse and you can't quit because you have bills to pay or a family to feed.

Nothing but smile and nod like you're actually enjoying it. Just deal with it, if you're going to another grade next year, just think about how you won't have her again.

Ganging up on a teacher when she holds the key to all the hard tests and can use them at will is not too smart. When students act stupid, my usual inside voice to myself said, "How hard and long do you want your future tests to be. Spelling counts, using complete sentences count, good grammar counts. All of a sudden, every little detail counts. And the more these clowns act up, the harder and more assignments crop up." It's time to realize the teacher talks the same, smiles the same, acts the same all the while the course gets harder and your grade and comfort level with passing moves to a new low.
