What are the causes of ingrown toe nail?

The nail grows in a reverse direction.. Youll probs have to get it removed by a doctor

cutting your toe nails wrong, they should be cut straight across the top, not on sides. also wearing improper shoes (too small)

Some causes of an ingrown toenail include, footwear that crowds the toes and toenails, toenail injury, posture, poor foot hygiene or excessive sweating. It is also known as onychocrytosis. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingrown_nail for details.
