Can the school keep your cellphone after school lets out at the end of the year

the year ended and they still have not gave it back.I still haft to pay for it

Yes they should give it back. It's not thier property. They probably have a lot of stuff taken from a lot of kids. If you have problems getting it, get your parents help.
Remember though, don't take stuff to school that your not suppose to take.

Not legally.
Get parents to get it.
Or just ask for a couple says before school lets out.

Unless you signed a contract or something which allows them to do so. Otherwise, I'd give them deadline then call the cops. They'd hate the publicity and should immediately give it back when they see that you're serious.

no,they shouldn't even keep it for a week go up and ask the teachers for your phone back

Even though you probably aren't supposed to have your phone out at school, you didn't even have to legally give it to them when you got Into trouble. Like previous comments, tell them to give it back, get parents involved or take it further.
