What are some good ways to avoid breakage when transitioning to natural hair?

Report as

To avoid hair breakage it is good to always moisturize you hair from the root to the tip, and condition it when you wash it. It is a good thing to trim the dead edge at least once in every three months and avoid too much heat on your hair. When hair is extremely tangled, brush from the bottom up slowly and gently. Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Use moisturizing products before blow drying hair, and blow dry on warm or cool, but not hot. Use low when hair is damp. Whenever straightening or styling hair, use protective spray.

Condition well and keep hair trimmed every 4-6 wks so you keep the dead ends off, lessens breakage.
