Many people say that poping your knuckles is bad for you and can cause arthritis later on but really poping your knuckles are just air pockets. I'm just saying its really not that un-healthy over 62.3 percent of the american population do the same. What I would do is find something other then poping you knuckles like every time you feel the erge to eat a popsicle instead.
A good way to prevent one bad habit is to start another habit to help you forget it, a healthier habit. This is what you call tricking the mind. It can be anything from whistling, to humming, or tapping your leg, etc.
