Why won't spotify download?

At first, it wouldn't work. It said "error" every time I tried to load it. So I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it, but now it won't download at all. It keeps saying that there is a firewall on it (which i disabled all of them) and that i'm not connected to the internet (which isn't true). what should i do? someone please help!! if you need more info, i will provide it.

The problem might be that you did not fully uninstall the old one and it is corrupting the new install. You will have to uninstall the new one once again. Now check if any Spotify process is running in the task manager and if it is there kill it. After that, try reinstalling Spotify. This should work when you run Spotify. If this does not help, please consult an expert.
