How does a customer track an order without the order number?

My husband ordered and paid but didn't write down any information. he even deleted the email the order generated. How do we track this order?

Without the tracking number I don't think you can you might be able to contact the seller via email or however and explain your situation they might give you the number again

A customer is capable of tracking an order without the order number using a reference noted on that particular shipping label. You can as well consider making use of the Quantum View a service offered to the various UPS account holders. You can try searching the quantum view by name and zip code

Also check your deleted message folder emails can be stored on the server for 90 days even if they are deleted

Or simply call the seller and retrieve the information again of its a legitimate seller they will gladly give you this info
