Oh yes, wall licking kids. A very common phenomenon. In houses with wall paper this can be a real issue. What my wife (the little Mrs) and I did was imbedded small razor blades in the wall. Well I will tell you it wasn't two or three days before the wall licking ended. They still do it occasionally when we visit someone elses home or a hotel, but never at home any more.
Who licks walls seriously.....why r they licking the walls.... and u let them !?Ask them why they are licking the walls and stop the reason why they are licking them and tell them how many germs are on the walls....... that is just plain nasty!! lol xD
Start by saying NO and give them (time out),if they are older and understand .Give them a dish cloth and have them wash the wall about an 8 ft by 8 ft section tell them YOU do not want spit on your walls.Remind them No means No enforce it.:) good luck
It's called Pica. Some children/adults will eat dirt, lick walls, etc. because they are lacking certain minerals. A MD can run a test to see what's missing. Licking the walls could be dangerous if it's a lead based paint.
