Lol... Definitely not going to listen to the person above! I don't have an apple store close by... Any other suggestion would be great

Oh sorry! Didn't think this one through ;) hmm... Hook it up to your computer and restore it...? :)

I tried hooking it up to iTunes even followed a utube video, no luck, guess I will have to find the closest store and maybe send it in... Was hoping for an easy fix :-(

There is an easy fix, trust me. Keep hope, I fix this problem all the time. Second biggest issue besides replacing the digitizer (touch screen on the front)

You can try restoring the phone but that requires the password best bet is going to the apple store

You can restore it but then you'll have to put everything back on there.

Bingo, put it in DFU mode and it will work. Plug it in to the computer with iTunes open, and hold the power button and slide it to turn it off. Once it is off then hold the home button for 5 seconds, then while still holding the home button and never letting go hold the power button for 10 seconds, then let go off the home button and continue to hold the power button for up to 30 seconds. It should take around 15-20 seconds to install the driver on Windows. iTunes will pop up and report that the iDevice is in Recovery Mode. Click restore or whatever and bingo.
