The amount you should weigh should only be determined by a licensed physician. There is a lot of factors that go into your ideal weight. A BMI of between 18.5 and 25 is what the doctors want you to strive for. You get your BMI by taking your weight in pounds and multiplying it by 703, then dividing it by the square of your height in inches.

For a man in good health at your age 165-180 is within the normal range.If you weigh less than 160 or more than 185 I would talk to your Dr. Schedule an appointment with your Dr. anyway and get a good bill of health.
