If I've had a partial hysterectomy, do I still need an annual pap smear?

After many years of paps after total hysterectomy, my doctors said the rules now say no longer need to do in this case. Maybe your doctor feels differently.

I would think yes, but call the dr., he/she will discuss with you.

Yes. Even if you had a complete hystorectomy you would need to. There are still health issues that can't be caught early with this test.
