How should I break up with my boyfriend?

it's summer but he never can see me so how can I breakup with him and if I do see him what should I say. how should I break up with him(over text, call him, through a friend, in person, etc). and what should I say

Introducing him to me would be the easiest way to let him down. I take joy in having emotional conversations so I could help him get through it if he is open to tell me. how funny

just be honest and go up to him and say "your a great guy but this isn't working,i'm sorry" and give him a quick hug and walk away

txt him and say "hey i love u so much but lets stop dating because i can never see your gorgeous face! Your a really great guy, but lets start dating when school starts"
