if you change you Facebook name will it post that you did? if it does how do you make it so it doesn't post?

It doesnt , it'll just change your name as i know tho if it does , go on your profile and on the top right of the status bar it should have an edit/delete button.

so your pretty sure it wont post. I don't want it to be posted that Ive changed my name I just want it to not be posted if I do

It shoudun't Never did to me , and so just to check when you changed it just go on your profile and check 2-3 time for like 5-10 mins and yeah if it appears just quickly remove the post by deleting it .

The Facebook page will post any changes you make on your profile be it the name, employer, date of birth or relationship status among others. I think it will be impossible to bar a change of name from posting on your Facebook profile unless you revoke the action or delete it all together. You should contact their official customer support desk for more inquiries.
