How do I group apps on my iPad?

I have a lot of apps on my iPad and I want some organization. Friends tell me to drag one app onto a second app and it will create a folder. But when I try it, the app moves to the next row. HELP!!!!!!!!!!??????????

So first, hold down one app until all the apps start jiggling. They will have little x buttons in one of the corners. Then drag one of the apps( lets call it A) onto another app(B) to put them into a folder. The system will already name the folder based on the contents of the apps. To rename it, click on the folder(while the apps are still jiggling) and the name(maybe Games) will come up. I you want to rename it, click on it and rename it( maybe Fun Apps). To make all the apps stop moving, press your home screen button. Hope this helped! If you need any other help check your iPad handbook. ?

Hold down on an app till they all start to shake. Once they are shaking drag and drop an app on top of an other but if you go to the edge of the page it will bring you to the next page. If this happens drag it to the edge of the page back to the page you were on and try again.

Hold down the app till it shakes. Drag the app over on TOP of another app and it should form a group. If it doesn't work the first time keep trying. Once you have created one group, you can drag apps into the group the same way you created a group. Your friend is right- you just have to try and do it right. Hope I helped ;)
