So I'm a beginner and I really want to start making my own beats.
yeah I know there are plenty of beat making software out there like Fl studio , garage band and Reason. But what do you think is the best software for me? I want something easy and simple but can do its purpose as a beat maker. Thank you guys

Have you heard of Dubturbo? They just released version 3.0 and it's pretty sweet! Has everything you need to make beats and produce tracks in pretty much any style you want. Hip hop, techno, dubstep, etc... no problem. Best thing about it is that it's easy to use even for total beginners, but is still very powerful and gives you the ability to create studio quality beats and sounds.

Check it out here:

Comes with a 16 channel mixer, drum machine, virtual keyboard and tons of samples and sounds. I've been using this thing for about a year now and was thrilled when they just released 3.0 as it did need an update. And man oh man I was not dissapointed, this thing is better than ever! Definitely check it out!

Good luck with your beat making, all you need is the right software and a good imagination and you're on your way.

In my opinion, the best beat making software is like Garageband for Mac Sony Acid Music Studio for PC. The program is simple and great as well as easy to use especially for beginners. The tutorials given are helpful from the articles and you can start making beats as well as record.

If you want something simple and easy, but still powerful enough to make pro level beats and tracks then you should check out this beat making software, it's pretty sick and is perfect for someone just getting started...

Has everything you need to make hip hop, techno, breaks, dubstep, house. Super fun too and you'll figure it out quickly! I think that producer Dallas Green and his crew are behind it, they turned their "Beat Thang" hardware into a software version and that's pretty much what this is. So you know there are some pretty big names behind this = good quality.

Good luck man, I hope you find some good software and have fun with music production and beat making!

Hello april,

I was in your position a few months ago. Music software for me was really tough!! But I did my research and found a program that was really good and pretty intuitive software I became pretty decent in a few days. The program that I used was actually a really good entry level software you can make samples, and it generates a solid sound.

It will also run any "regular" use computer fine. SO you wont have to spend money on expensive parts. Ive been using thing for a few months now and have been very satisfied. I purchased it from this website. . Also it and is super simple to use I have to say probably took me a few days to get the software down. Which is very important for a beginner ease of use.( Like you stated above)

Hope this helps,
Have a great day!
