if i have a virus on my pc is it safe to put my credit card info on a website to download an antivirus

it will NOT allow me to put my pc in safe mode. i wanna pay for an antivirus will it steal my credit card info and is it safe to do that

Absolutely do not do this. Take your computer to someone you trust for help. The steps you would need to do are probably a little too advanced at this point. if you would like I know more just respond here I can try and walk you through it.

No it's not safe! Because some viruses try to tell you u have a virus and then try to sell u fake anti virus to steal your bank info.. Better off buyin the disk from the store..and the virus can be tracking your info on your computer

If the site you want to download the antivirus is legitimate then you should not worry about the safety of the information. A computer virus cannot affect your credit card when you share information on a website.

This is so untrue. There is no such thing as a legit sight when you have a virus. They are very sneaky and they can look exactly like a real sight. Don't be fooled.

Noooooooo!!!!!!! Get it cleaned! That's what viruses do, they steal your info.
