I want to have a garage sale, but I don't have any tables; What should I do?

I have a ton of stuff that I've outgrown or don't want anymore. I'm willing to sit all day and get rid of it!! Only two problems- my garage is dirty (I could just have it on the lawn) and I have no tables!! Any suggestions welcome!!

It's OK. You can sell things other than tables, ha ha! (JK) Clothes can be placed on hangers, hung from clothesline or twine strung between trees. Or, if you don't have many valuables, you can open your house to visitors. Call it an "estate sale" and place your items around the living room, kitchen, den. etc. Or basement, if you have one.
Sheets on the ground are fine. Or, look for large cardboard boxes behind stores, flip them over & use those as tables. If you have an old door, or large shelves stashed away, prop them up on two dining chairs. Last, ask your friends if they have any folding tables you can borrow. Your church, too.

you can rent tables or maybe borrow from a church - tables would be best for people are lazy - you could take your interior doors down and set them on boxes - gather appliances boxes for tables or load up and go to a flea market or just get a big tarp and put it on the lawn

I'm just afraid that putting a table on a crate will look sketchy or something...?

it dont matter -- even if it is piled up / bagged up folks will dig thru it - though it is best to have it all layed out as perty as possible

...I used to take a bunch of Chairs and Hang a 2x6 Board between them.I Think it is called a two-by-six board.
