Ya, you shouldn't give them food as a responce to barking. Only if it really is there regular feeding time.

Bark collar. It'll shock them every time they bark. It won't take them long to change.

You know what, you are all right. I was going to try to defend my answer, but I thought better of it. Although the shock collar works I don't think I would use one if I had this problem. I was wrong.

That's good that you realized that then. Do you have a dog? I hope you don't use any kind of electrical punishment to keep them in the yard or for barking or for anything. Don't really know you use electricity for anything on your dog if you have one, but if you do you should try shocking yourself with it before thinking of using it again.

Oh, well that's good at least. You shouldn't get a dog then be to busy for it. I have to guinea pigs. One of them hates me! :)

Give them lots of attention and when they bark ignore them and eventually they will stop.

If they are barking at you for attention then fold your arms across your chest and look up at the sky. This will make them bored of you as you not looking at them or letting them play with your arms/hands. When they stop look at them and tell them words of praise.

Meaning barking AT you, if they're over somewhere else and just being noisy this will do nothing.

Not bark collars! They are extremely cruel. You should try shocking yourself woth one, then you wouldn't be to keen on using one next time.

I also have a dog that barks a lot. I had tried everything to stop it but nothing worked so I did have to get a Bark Collar, I really hate having to use that thing on her because I do know how much it hurts when it shocks her. You could try making a loud noise when your dog(s) bark. I was told by one trainer that that should work. Go to the ASPCA website they may have some tips that are humane to use. Good luck.
