My hair is really thick and frizzy and I hate it! I've tried so hard to keep it nice but it still looks frizzy and unkept!? what can i do!?

i have like 6 bottles of anti frizz spray from different brands. I shower and brush my hair reguarly! my hair is brownish red and goes down to my chest!

You can go to a salon and have them thin your hair for you. They use different methods but usually scissors that look like a comb on one side... As long as the person knows what their doing your hair will be a little thinner but not look like you just hacked parts out. Try using different products until you find what works (shampoos and conditioners can make a huge difference).

The best thing is to get braids put in, with extensions. A well worth investment. Instead of bringing scissors and products to your frizz, the braids will camouflage the and give your whole head a very fresh look. Plus if ever u want to cover it up anyways, just wrap a scarf over your hair and that solves everything:)

I heard if you dont use a towel to dry your hair and just air dry it I will help be less frizzy

Have you tried a salon Keratin treatment? Avoid the Brazilian straightening- it has formaldehyde in it. But the Keratin treatment will leave your hair smooth and manageable. It can be pricey- shop around for a good summer special.

Try getting it thinned out and layered. I have the same hair. I got that done and I now love my hair ! I also got a Remington Wet to straight straightener. It allows you to straighten your hair while its wet so it looks thinner and flat. Try these things !!

Try a shampoo specifically for frizzy hair.
