How do I end my romance screenplay?
1940s America. My heroine is from a good family, my hero (her lover) is her family's gardener. He's gone into WWII and I think I might have a friend of his shoot him as an act of jealousy/insubordination. Should my hero come back as a spirit years later and visit his wife (and their illegitimate son) to tell them he has to leave (heaven)? Or what should I do? Kill him, or not? How will it end for them? (by the way, also involved is the heroine's sister, who wants the gardener for herself and destroyed the letter he wrote the heroine saying he was going to war so the heroine would think he abandoned her and their child)
