How much should I weight? I'm 27 years old, 5' 5" and 235 lbs. I know I'm overweight but I want to try to lose some weight.

Your doctor can tell you how much you should weigh, and the best way to lose weight is to eat less.

Don't follow fad diets. Don't waste your time and money with gimmicky miracle pills or weird health food magic herbs.

This calculator can help:

Are you male or female? I'll assume male based on image and name...
You are dangerously obese with a BMI over 39, and should consult with a medical professional.

At 5'5" (65 inches), the healthy range is anywhere between 114 lbs and 144 lbs.

Good luck! It's not easy losing weight, but you owe it to yourself to be healthy.

I'll try. I know it's not easy to lose weight. I've tried it before but I don't stick to it for long.

I think what ever weight you feel comfortable at is what your weight should be. Don't go by those silly charts, not sure what type of people they used to come up with those figures. When your back and knees no longer hurt and you don't easly get out of wind, then you are where you need to be.
