If i dont remember when i last had it, how can i find my iPod?

i dont have the "Find my iPod" app

Unfortunately, there is no discernible way for you to locate your iPod except manually looking for it. Apple has the software to locate the ISP once someone logs into iTunes with your iPod, but refuses to help the victims citing privacy laws.
