I accidentally deleted my calendar icon on my iPhone 4, how can I get it back?

If you go into Settings and then select General and Reset and Reset Home Screen Layout, your calendar icon will show up again.

Wow, thank you for the great information. The folks at Sprint had me jumping through every hoop imaginable and it was not restoring my calendar. They were next going to have me restore from iTunes which would have given me an empty calendar. Your solution brought back the icon and all of my data. YOU ROCK!

will this reset everything, ie. potentially take away newer apps recently downloaded? Or just bring back the main ones? I want to bring my calendar back too, but don't want to erase other apps.

You could download another calendar application. There are several depending on your personal needs. They can have your day planned down to the very last minutes. Here are some of the top calendar applications http://www.iphoneness.com/iphone-apps/10-best-calendar-apps-for-iphone/

Under app store on your phone, look under updates. At the top it will say purchased, with a little arrow in a circle. You tap on that, & every app you've ever owned will be listed, & you can reinstall it on your phone from there.

Have a try the Coolmuster Data Recovery for iPhone iPad iPod tool, as I know, this tool can help the iPhone 4 user recover contacts, SMS, calendars, photos, notes, music, and more from iPhone, iPad and iPod within one click.
