Ok Bobby, I did some research on this question and this is what I found: The blood that flows through any human body does NOT come from the mother's egg......it is produced within the body of the fetus itself ONLY after the introduction of the male sperm. The female egg can NEVER produce blood. The male sperm adds life to the egg.......so...there is not life in a egg until male sperm united with it.....the life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:14). The male sperm is the source of the blood and the seed of life! So the blood that ran through Jesus in God's. Thanks for this question Bobby....very interesting.

Because you search so hard you deserve the answer. The precious blood that flowed through our Lord Jesus was divine meaning it was from God the father and not man's or even Joseph's Mary's husband. For he didn't copulate with her until after Christ was born and I will show you that in the bible along with the bible facts that Christ's blood being divine blood.=======read====================Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28 KJV)============read=================Mary asked the angel, ?But how can this happen? I am a virgin.?
The angel replied, ?The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:34, 35 NLT)

For further reference and assurance through the bible======read=======================This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her fianc, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.
As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. ?Joseph, son of David,? the angel said, ?do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.?
All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord?s message through his prophet:
?Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,
which means ?God is with us.?? When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus. Oh one more is found in the book of ==================And I will cause hostility between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring.
He will strike your head,
and you will strike his heel.? (Genesis 3:15 NLT) This verse is the fore telling of the seed of the virgin Mary because the woman produces the egg not the seed so it's pointing to the virgin birth of our Lord and Christ. Please compare this verse with Luke's and Isaiah's account of the virgin birth and may the Spirit of our Lord continue to enlighten you and all those who read with a sincere heart to know the truth.

He is God come to earth as a human to die for payment of our sins.
Report as
A divine god that needs a payment from his mortal creation, is anything but a god. Love doesn't beget suffering.
Report as
I never understood the logic of this. It would have us believe that God came to earth so we could kill him so he could then forgive us for eating an apple. It is not only credulous, but it borders on the idiotic.
Report as
It's been borrowed from the fable of Jupiter.

Keeping aside the probability of a Roman soldier named Pandira, as the illegitimate blood line of Jesus, the genealogy given in two gospels show that Jesus, the son of Joseph, was of the blood of David.

Matthew gives (i. 6), a genealogy by name from David, up, through Joseph, the husband of Mary, to Christ; & makes there to be 28 generations. Luke gives also a genealogy by name from Christ, through Joseph the husband of Mary, down to David, & makes there to be 43 generations; besides which, there is only the two names of David & Joseph that are alike in the two lists.
As they contradict each other severely, it proves absolute falsehood. If Matthew speaks truth, Luke speaks falsehood; & if Luke speaks truth, Matthew speaks falsehood: and as there is no authority for believing one more than the other, there's no authority for believing either; and if they can't be believed even in the very first thing they say, and set out to prove, they aren't entitled to be believed in anything they say afterwards. Truth is uniform; & as to inspiration & revelation, were we to admit it, it is impossible to suppose it can be contradictory.

I don't see why we need to set aside Panthera, who was Jesus's biological father. As for the genealogies, they are surely fabricated. By Jesus's time there were no descendants of David. If there were, Herod would have killed them all, like he did with the Hasmoneans. The last known descendant of David died at least 4 centuries before Jesus.
Report as
You are very wrong in your assumption that Scripture is false. The Bible gives the genealogy of both Jesus' father AND his mother as both are descendants of David. That's why the two genealogies disagree. One is Mary's line, the other is Joseph's.

Geri is correct.

Geri: read the references I quoted.

Both are genealogies of Joseph, none is of Mary's. People are not readily fooled these days - Lest u forgot!

Lior:
Thank u for the insight. I agree with u. The reason I kept aside Panthera was because the Christians don't believe anything out of bible. They find all other history to be FALSE (without citing any reason of course) except the anecdotal references of the books called bible.

Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;

Jesus was a regular man in the sense that he was born to a woman (virgin mary) and made her impure for 40 days, like any other child did at his time. He had blood in his veins same as you and me.

The Blood of Jesus was divine coming from the Holy Spirit of God who Fathered her child. It was of such purity that His Blood would mean something as He, the Son of God fulfilled prophecy, untainted by any lineage attributed Him as the adopted son of Joseph.

The consensus of the Church through the ages is that Jesus was both fully God and fully man. Luke's genealogy traces Jesus' full humanity back to the creation of man (Adam), the son of God. So regardless of whether the blood literally came from Mary, Joseph, Panthera, etc, Jesus bloodline goes back to God.

In that sense, everyone of us can be traced back to Adam & ultimately to god, can't it be? That makes that Jesus was a son of god in the same sense that every human is the child of the creator, isn't it?
Report as
Son of God is a title that is reserved for royalty. We are all children of God in that sense that if there is a creator, we all trace back to him.
