Why did the Homo sapiens neanderthalensis go extinct?
They only went extinct 30 thousand years ago... what drove them to extinction?
As yet that is not clear. They were in fact not so different to us, so there is no simple explanation why they disappeared. Some scientist assume that they did not go extinct really, but were absorbed into the modern human race.
Us- we drove them to extinction
We're homo sapiens they say they evolved then the rest died out
a flood happened and forced them to live on raft/shelters and eventually the raft/shelter broke down and the drowned or just became emune to water and became same new type of aquatic species
A recent study has indicated that all non-Africans have some Neanderthal DNA in them, 1-4%, so to some extent we hybridised with them.
