Depending on your age and how long you've been having your period, it may just be a situation of waiting until your hormones sort themselves out and become regular. When a girl first starts having periods, it's a new thing for her body to be doing and it takes a while to adjust.
It takes a while on the other end of things too, when a woman goes through menopause! Once again, hormones are sorting things out and when and how much becomes unpredictable again. But I'm guessing you have a long while before you have to think about that!

oh, mine is WIERD too!
I just recently started mine.
I didn't even start my period until 2 and a half months after I first spotted.
My periods have Been extremely light!
the first time I just started bleed lightly for three days.. No symptoms and it just went away. Then the next cycle was the same thing,
just three days of light bleeding getting lighter each day,
an then this month it should have came around the tenth but I haven't gotten anything yet!
the 9th I had two spots of blood and then yesterday or whatever I had bad cramps but I haven't actually gotten my period yet.
I'm wondering why it's being so WIERD! I haven't told my parents yet :o but I have to but you should talk to your doctor.
