All of the rules have already been set, so you can't further develop mathematics. I love math. Even though I'm highly creative, I'm also analytical and logical. I enjoy amusing myself by solving problems.
i think most people dislike them because these are not taught the way they should be. sometimes teachers take out all the fun out of it and hence killing the subjects from within, as they're totally based on having fun. but being fair, some people just don't have interest in them, which is alright based on everyone's personal like's and dislikes.
If you are born with left brain dominance, math and/or science will make more sense to you. But if you are born with right brain dominance, math/science will be very difficult. If you are right brain, comedy, music, the arts, and looking at the big picture will be easier. Left brain people like working with detail. This is why you need to know who you are so you don't go in the wrong direction out of ignorance.
