What is this called (See Photo)?

The bar that keeps the hood from denting is. What is it called? I want one installed in my new car. (Thanks, Jenn, for letting me use your photobucket to link the photo.)

In my opinion, it is known as hood bar. Opening your vehicles hood is usually a simple task that can be done in a few minutes with no tools required. Once the hood is open it can help you gain access to the inner workings of your car's engine.

I think it's just called steel rod or hood bar. But be warned, if you don't place it in the right place, it could cause a dent in your hood! My dad works on cars and I learn a lot of stuff from him! :)
