I was under the assumption that jello needed to be refrigerated to become "jello", other than that I think it's gonna stay as a liquid, but it would still be cool :)

Heated, I thought?

I was gonna tell her what jello is made of, then I was like, "Naah"

Heated to dilute the sugary packet of mix, and then chilled for it to set

They better hope they buy sugar free

Are you prepared for the expense to make it then clean up? Thats going to be a huge, sticky mess. If you use any pool therell likely be repairs to pumps and filters and other equipment necessary afterward. And thats gonna be a heck of a lot of jello

Just full it with water and buy a crap load of jello and add the jello powder until its as thick as you want it.

You just need some Instant jello And some water. And since you're doing that in the baby pool. I would read the instant jello instructions to see how much it would make and go from there.

Well, you have to heat it. But you could always buy a ton of jello cups and throw them in. Don't forget to eat some too.

Nafta is correct. The only way I see this happening is by making maybe 20 packages of jello without sugar, very important, in your house in baking trays and then cutting it up into cubes and filling your pool after they harden. Depending on the weather you may have an hour of fun. Just make sure to have a hose handy to wash off with.

Making a jello pool is impossible unless you have a massive amount of boiling water and a giant refrigerator to cool it . Jello will not gel unless you dissolve it in boiling water and stir in cold water and then refrigerate it . Both heat followed by cold IS necessary to activate the gelatin ingredient in Jello . There is NO way the jello will gel without first the boiling water followed by cold water and refrigeration . Just dumping jello into a pool is a big waste of time and money on something that will not work

use a blow up pool for the backyard. Then buy a huge Costco pack or something of jello. maybe put tons of giant packs of ice around the pool so the jello mix and water turns into actual jello. You will need a lt of jello and ice though. Or, you could make a lot of pans of jello and pour it into a baby pool.
